I was just thinking about the Good Old days like 6 Years ago when we were the best team ever, and everyone knew it.

I know we got to the finals but i didnt even expect us to do it. What happened to the Good Old days of Shaq and Kobe the Duo that Made Any Player Shat his pants?

And now we have Lamar Odom/? He is not 1/10th of Shaqs Talent, Shaq helped lead us to championships, Lamar leads us to turnovers.

Kobe cant hold this team by himself, even michael jordan had Pippen...

DISCUSS -_- :P

No way we take back Shaq now. His contract is too large to move and he's in the twilight of his career. Even if we did, remember he isn't what he used to be.

O'Neal can't hold the Suns team by himself either...well at least physically since he is so damn wide nowadays. Seriously, he's past tense...he'll never concede to be a part time player and imagine Bryant bolting because he's on the squad. Bynum and Gasol as a tandem will quadruple what O'Neal can produce at this latter stage of his career. I give him a nod for his contributions to the Laker lore but the organization has moved on.
Five guys on the court working together can achieve more than five talented individuals who come and go as individuals.

Lol wtf? I would have loved to have kept the team together for title after title after title, but it didn't happen, which really sucked, and now it's too late. There is no SHAQ, there's just an old past his prime Shaquille O'Neal. Some guys (Jordan, etc) can last until their 40s; Shaq is a player who relied on his athleticism and strength and was not the best in the world at keeping his body fit... he is done. The Good Ol Days are gone.

We don't need Shaq back, we need Bynum to become that SHAQ we had.

We don't need Shaq on the Lakers. He's already done... why do we need Shaq when we already have Bynum?

I can't wait till Bynum says "Hey Snaq, tell me how my A** taste." after he dunks on him.

Screw Shaq.
"You have to understand, I love L.A., I love being our ambassador, I love bringing people together," he said. "It's funny, but I guess it still feels like I'm playing point guard, but in a different way, doing stuff more meaningful than winning."
