FINALLY, all the Barbosa to LA hopefuls can zip it now. We don't need him, trust me. When he was playing for the Raptors, he made everyone across Canada pull out their hair from their heads. He's Boston's problem now.

The Boston Celtics added another versatile piece to their backcourt by signing veteran combo guard Leandro Barbosa, the team announced Thursday.
Barbosa was signed for the veteran's minimum. The Celtics have 17 players on their roster, including two camp invitees.
A league source had confirmed the deal Wednesday. Yahoo! Sports earlier reported the agreement.

Quit your whining already man. I'm sick of hearing you [expletive] and complain. It's like you forgot we got Steve Nash and Dwight Howard. You act like Barbosa is some super sub when he's not. There's a reason he just now got signed. He's a decent backup two guard, but we already have Meeks. Barbosa cannot pass or set up others/playmake to save his life. Barbosa was waiting to hear from the Los Angeles Lakers when he decided to take the Celtics’ bid. “The Lakers were interested in me, but I think Boston would be better for me,” he said. “I don’t know why. My agent, we had that talk and he said it would be great for me to be here. It’s the kind of situation I’m looking for, especially to play with Rondo. He likes to run, and I love to run, so I think it will work really well. “There were talks, a lot of talks of (the Lakers) and my agent. And I had a lot of talk with Steve (Nash). We are kind of close as friends. But nothing happened, so it happened here.” Boston Herald
I have no idea why he would prefer the celtics over the lakers.
