In all honesty, no one cared about Gerald green not being with us till I made the thread highlighting his NBDL play and asking for a second chance for him, and made a case for him coming back, that became almost the official Gerald Green thread and highlighted when he was MVP of the D-league all-star game etc. And after that when New Jersey signed him people went off on why we didn't have him and why we should. But till I made that thread, no one made any kind of mention of the work he was doing down in the D-league or was making any arguments for him to be on this team.

oh man, i have to watch it over. i fell asleep somewhere after the 1st quarter, at least i think it was then. thank god for dvr though its not like i change the channel anyways.

i did see meeks hit a 3 somewhere mid to late 4th. damn i knew they were gonna lose by a lot but....

Tell me, when he got sent down to the NBDL team after his bad games for us in the pre-season was anyone clamoring for the guy to be drafted up to our team before that thread?

Honestly because I don't remember anyone being really vocal about it during that time till then.

I brought up when people started really taking notice.

It's not praise. It was true. No one was watching his progress in the NBDL nor making the case vocally that he should be called up on a second chance after his pre-season performances.

I was just answering when the 'hype' for him really took off. I wasn't praising myself I was talking about when people started taking notice on him a second time.

We should focus on the people we have right now like Meeks and CDR and Ebanks

Tonight we saw more plays setting up Meeks for wide open threes and Meeks shooting them with more confidence. I think those are more likely the plays we'll be running for Meeks often than the ones we run where he has to create for himself.
