I caught the ending of it, the Cards have such a strong lineup at the plate. Down 2 in the 9th and they scored 4 runs to shut up the Washington crowd. Gotta love post-season baseball.

St. Louis is annoying. They've been doing the same [expletive] for along time now. Just kinda cruise through the regular season (fly under the radar a bit even) and then come postseason, they turn it up a whole nother' level. It's almost as if they're arrogant/stubborn to an extent knowing they can do that, when most others teams can't or don't.

Let's see what happens next year when St. Louis doesn't have 18 games with the Houston Astros. They'll have to crank it up a bit sooner if they want to make the post-season.

A full season of Chris Carpenter will help, though.

Soooooo they're the Los Angeles Lakers?

Raul Ibanez with another bomb. Dude is incredible. 40 years old means nothing to him

^ Why isn't he starting? He deserves it.

Kinda, except that they're not loveable like us.

Good to see the Tigers pull through. Don't think they would've recovered from this.

Jeter went down and did not get up, he was carried off the field. Couldn't have happened to a worse guy, no matter what team you go for, you gotta hate seeing Jeter get hurt. Seems like a foot injury or an ACL tear.

It was tough watching him get carried out, same feeling when I saw DRose get carried out.

Tough for DJ2. If you look at the replay you can tell the exact moment his ankle broke.

Damn. The Yankees are pretty much done. Lost half of their heart with Mariano Rivera early on, then the rest of it with the loss of DJ2.
