since i started listening to him, i think i never heard him say anything negative to the lakers. its kinda annoying now. i just want an honest analysis, comment and opinion on our team.. kinda like james worthy. and steve nash.

Well weather its on the radio or TV he is paid to be a Lakers analysist. It would be great if he was neutral but it is Lakers network so expect him to be leaning toward the Laker side. The neutral reporters should be on ESPN , NBA TV etc.

He is. I mentioned this on the debut of TWCSN last week. He kinda raises his voice just as he does on radio too. I thought he'd tone it down a bit, but apparently he's staying true to himself.and hes so enthusiastic, lol.. not that its a bad thing, i just find it too funny haha

& by the way, not to be sexist (though I guess in a way I already am being here...), but I wish Ramona Shelburne and Shelley Smith, two rare females who tend to cover the Lakers a lot mainstream, were at least a little more aesthetically pleasing.

I like Jim Hill. He's a total professional. Massengale was fun though. Him and James used to have so much fun on LTV.^ Jim Hill couldn't be any more of a robot. So glad we don't have to put up with him anymore. He never should've taken Massengale's spot. Completely messed up. Massengale was actually real.
Personally, I find Dave Miller to be rather annoying.

I can't take Dave seriously. I went to his basketball camps when I was younger, went to school with his two sons, and he was even my personal shooting coach in middle school. Crazy that he's a analyst now

I really liked him on the Lakers post-game radio show last year. If you want to talk about someone never saying anything negative about the Lakers, listen to Max Kellerman. The thing is, though, that most people just want to hear their local analysts BIG UP their teams...If you were to look at ratings, this would probably reflect that. I prefer a more neutral analyst, but at times, yeah, I don't mind my teams being "bigged up" occasionally.
As far as Miller, I think he's very excited about this new job right now, but when it comes down to it, he was still an NBA assistant coach and is very knowledgeable whichever way you want to look at it. He will settle down and get much better.
