I personally had no issue with the dress code because it cleaned up the game a bit. And I know some people said Stern was abusing his power but many jobs, especially more professional ones have dress codes, I don't see the problem with enforcing it in the NBA. Imagine an employee at a big time company coming to work dressed like this guy:

I see where your coming from but idc about professionalism at all that [expletive] is just away to get workers to conform most of the time and has nothing to do with their performance, I just didn't like how they dressed for strictly for fashion purposes.

osa llama lakum, would you like a bean pie my brother?
Abdul-Jabbar told the San Francisco Chronicle last month he met Howard only once and that Howard expressed an interest in learning from the former Lakers captain but he never again reached out to Abdul-Jabbar.

‘He’s charming, he’s charismatic, very nice young man,’ Abdul-Jabbar said. ‘Maturity-wise, he doesn’t get it.’

It's the same wayfarer frame style except Kobe where's shades which are perfectly acceptable to most I have 2 pairs of wayfarer shades myself, it's the lensless and non prescription clear lenses that makes it a so called "hipster" look and what a lot of people think are lame.
