I think this might force Mike Brown to go small with Jamison or MWP at the 4 for a few minutes here and there, I wouldn't mind that

If he is out for a while, then Sacre is most likely making the final roster.

thats what we're afraid of
Abdul-Jabbar told the San Francisco Chronicle last month he met Howard only once and that Howard expressed an interest in learning from the former Lakers captain but he never again reached out to Abdul-Jabbar.

‘He’s charming, he’s charismatic, very nice young man,’ Abdul-Jabbar said. ‘Maturity-wise, he doesn’t get it.’

According to the Lakers Jordan Hill was diagnosed today with a herniated disc (L5, S1) in his back. Will be re-evaluated in a week.

holy sh, hellllllo kenyon martin! yes! i like him more than jordan hill anyway, right now. future,j.hill,tho. but hopefully we sign kenyon, OR maybe Jamison doesnt play anymore 3 and this opens up a spot for CDR

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

I think this makes CDR and Sacre the last two contracts the Lakers will hand out.

I think this is the deciding point for DJO, with Hill out I see the Lakers picking Sacre over him for a roster spot with CDR.

why we'll get Kenyon..
1. we were interested prior to this injury
2.kenyon will only take minimum if he gets minutes.....
3.kenyon wants to be a LAKER and win a ring, who doesnt.

BTW kenyon looked just as good as jordan hill last year guys, and kenyon hit his J way more consistently
watch this whole thing yall.

I'm on the fence about Kenyon. He has experience, tough as nails, great defender at multiple positions but hes a little trigger happy, can cause some problems in the locker room, doesn't take jokes well . Heck look at the Clippers they have no half decent Centers on the team and they let him go, that says something.

The advantage LA might have - outside of the chance at a ring - Martin's kids live in Los Angeles. Of course the Lakers don't have the $ to wow Martin - but they can offer slightly more than the minimum with $1.59 million of their MLE left. Hill's back needs to be clearly a long-term problem - but Martin has experience in the Princeton offense

Heard he didn't want the veterans minimum either. I'd just take Sacre for cheap, hustles on rebounds, and has chemistry with Nash.

Damn....Hill looked good from the playing time he got last night. Unless they go with Sacre for a significant chunk of playing time or sign Kenyon Martin, Gasol will be even more crucial as he starts at the 4 and will be playing even more minutes at backup 5 with Dwight out.

Couple of things. If Hill is out for the year we can use the Disabled player exception for Jordan ( $1.75mil, worth more than the rest of the mini MLE remaining which is $1.5mil ). if Kenyon or whoever big is not happy we do have the ability to use a $1.75 mil exception. OKC used it last year after Maynor was out and it says we gotta use it within 45 days

Eh.. on Keyon. I'd prefer no potential locker room poison.
