RT @KevinDing: Bad news for Lakers bench. Jordan Hill has herniated disk in his back. Will be re-evaluated in a week.

Not good

Robert Sacre and Earl Clark welcome to the Lakers!

Or would the Lakers go after Kenyon Martin now?

Yeah, this definitely sucks if he is going to be out for a while. Hill plays with a motor all the time.

Anybody know about this injury? Is this something he can play through just for 10-15 mins a night or is it something seriously debilitating and needs surgery?

Damn. It's better now than later I guess. He brings much needed hustle and seems to give it his all every second of the game. We will definitely miss him, so hopefully he'll get over it quickly.

If he is out for a while, then Sacre is most likely making the final roster.

Same injury Howard had. Howard's had a herniated disc in his lower back, not sure about Hill's though.

They'll rest him for a week and see if the swelling goes down.

exactly what i was thinking, maybe he will actually take the minimum to play for the lakers though they could pay somewhat more under the injured player exception.

hopefully its not bad enough to come to that though, he did look good last night. you can play with it unless it starts affecting nerves and causing leg issues or sciatica

After this and his performance last night, it's looking like Sacre will make the team. Hopefully this isn't too severe.
