Well I don't really follow college so unfortunately I don't know much about em, just what we saw tonight so with that said sacre look good (thanks to Steve Nash) and Somogy was ok maybe better idk... as for the rest well they let a 35-0 run occur so screw them lol

Chris Duhon sucked more than Blake. For a second I thought he was going to play better but who knows he did play with rooks I reckon Blake would had allowed the run also

Keep CDR, the rest can go to the D-League or the nearest McDonalds. I guess Sacre can stay as a big body, but the rest I don't care about one bit.

I really don't want to see any more of Antawn Jamison playing backup 3. I can already tell that it will have disastrous consequences for us if utilized during the regular season. There is zero chance of him being able to match up with the quicker SFs in the league, even if it is for spot minutes. He should primarily be playing backup PF as a stretch 4 to spread the floor whenever he's out there with Nash and Howard. That's his niche, not as a backup 3.

^ Let's just all hope & pray Mike Brown can see that.

^ I'm sorry we couldn't land Barbosa for the veteran's minimum or the rest of our exception. Actually let me correct myself, not sure about couldn't, we might just have never even tried in the first place. I hope that wasn't the case though. That'd be pretty disappointing.

Haha it's fine. I'm just rooting for Morris/Odom to step it up. Otherwise Nash is gonna see alot of minutes that he shouldn't be playing.

Meeks also disappointed me a lot as well he could have done a lot more hopefully Morris and CDR get more clock next game

^ He was in with a bad lineup. He needs people to mostly create shots for him/find him open spotting up. He's not exactly all that effective at creating his own shot. You leave Nash out there for a bit with the second squad (which I expect some come season) and I guarantee you Meeks will be effective.

Blake and Morris looked better than Duhon.


CDR showed why Mitch is a genius.

Sacre has heart but needs to work on footwork and fundamentals.

Pau and Metta were beasting.

Love how the offense was flowing at times.

Jordan Hill's improved jump shot is needed.

DJO did well and nearly jumped over the guys head getting pump faked.

Morris has been working on his overdribbling and made some good passes.

Goudelock is faster but still needs to work on dribbling.

Ebanks looked ok. CDR looked better.

Nash was Nash, Kobe was Kobe.

Only DJO and CDR are making this team of the people that are unsigned.

Meeks is not a player who can do a whole lot on his own. He'll look his best spacing the floor when Howard is out there and Kobe is sitting on the bench. His role should be primarily catch-and-shoot, nothing more. The ideal lineup for him would be Nash/Meeks/MWP/Jamison/Dwight. You get a solid mix offensively with spot-up threats in Jamison and Meeks to spread the floor, Nash dictating the offense, and Howard ready to finish in the interior. A combo of MWP/Howard defensively should be enough to deter most of the production out of a opposing star perimeter player.

If Mike Brown has any sense at all, he'll realize this another game or two into the preseason (once we make a few cuts) and begins to feature that potential lineup (subbing Dwight with Pau until he returns).

Only a genius if they do the right thing and he ultimately makes the team. Don't know if that decision lies with Mike Brown or whom exactly, but it wouldn't exactly shock me depressingly if whatever idiot or idiots make that call make the wrong one.

Odd because Sacre and Artest kept breaking it. But Artest began to get a rhythm, and it worked out for him. Sacre didn't do great, but imagining Howard in his place... Wow. Pau, Nash, and Bryant however worked wonders with it.

It looked neat over-all. But not enough to tell if it's going to be incredibly effective.

Great. Kobe got more wide open looks than he did in any single game last season. Nash running the show makes such a huge difference for this team. There were a handful of plays early where he led us in transition for easy looks at the basket and there was one very nice pass in a pseudo P&R play where he drew three defenders before bouncing it in to a cutting big for the easy lay-in. We were destroying the Warriors 19-7 before Brown began his mass substitutions. Pau looked fantastic out there.
