^ Exactly. It might not be perfect at first. Might need to make a few tweaks on the go as it'll be a learning process, but a step in the right direction indeed it is. Very encouraging!

I can already anticipate the drama this upcoming season behind what is and what is not considered a flop, but I guess it's better than sitting around and watching the Clippers fall all over the floor.

I think it will be reviewed by the nba FO and then fines are made

Pointless..

Without an in-game penalty system there is no benefit to this.

There needs to be a technical foul or retain possession type of in-game call for the behavior. the players will still flow this year. I doubt we see a major percentage drop if flops for the season.
The Lakers FO knows more than you. Sorry.

[expletive] That !

LEBRON CAN PAY that kind of fine

thats not scary it should be in game

how about when the playoffs starts?

money can be replace but winning a championship is a irreplaceable

It should be In Game Penalty

I would rather pay the fine atleast Championship is secured.

NBAPA is filing a grievance against the NBA for this

Marc J. Spears ‏@SpearsNBAYahoo
NBPA plans on filing a grievance and an unfair labor practice charge challenging the new anti-flopping rule implemented by the NBA.

Yeah seriously. [expletive]in' [expletive]. Get rid of your damn vaginas and play the game like real [expletive]in' Men. None of this flopping BS.

It wouldn't have to come to this if they weren't overdoing that [expletive] so much in the first place. They can only blame themselves really. Idiots.

thats the problem with this...flopping is too subjective, player could say he slipped or something, or that the hit looked harder than it was...no way to prove disprove those types of things in a lot of cases, and if you're talking up to $30,000, it better be beyond a reasonable doubt

unless its only for the most obvious of the obvious...i don't know, if it gets players to think twice before hitting the deck on little/no contact, then i'll take it, but i have feeling this isn't going to work, and/or it'll eventually get vetoed...

kind of have a feeling they just did it to show the fans they were trying to do something about it, knowing the players would fight it because it really kind of is BS depending on how its enforced...either way, players look bad for fighting against anti-flopping, league looks good for trying to stop it

Well I haven't heard anything really, but he's part of the NBAPA so obviously you would think he played a role in them being all upset about this.
