Without an in-game penalty system there is no benefit to this.

There needs to be a technical foul or retain possession type of in-game call for the behavior. the players will still flow this year. I doubt we see a major percentage drop if flops for the season.

thats the problem with this...flopping is too subjective, player could say he slipped or something, or that the hit looked harder than it was...no way to prove disprove those types of things in a lot of cases, and if you're talking up to $30,000, it better be beyond a reasonable doubt

unless its only for the most obvious of the obvious...i don't know, if it gets players to think twice before hitting the deck on little/no contact, then i'll take it, but i have feeling this isn't going to work, and/or it'll eventually get vetoed...

kind of have a feeling they just did it to show the fans they were trying to do something about it, knowing the players would fight it because it really kind of is BS depending on how its enforced...either way, players look bad for fighting against anti-flopping, league looks good for trying to stop it
