Chris Douglas-Roberts was a surprise to see today. The Lakers signed him to a training camp contract, w/ hope he will play for the D-Fenders

im VERY happy at this news! i think he's MUCH more skilled than Ebanks, hed be our most skilled SF(offensively). i think if he hustles,he will take Ebanks spot, because he's most definitely more skilled than Ebanks. if Douglas Roberts can show he can hustle, and shoot the 3 consitently, he'd be PERFECT for the team and for Nash..

in his last season(10-11) he had two 30 point games.. he's not statiscally a good 3 point shooter but i garuntee he's better than Ebanks..

this guys better than Ebanks,period. if he shows he can be a hustle player too, the spot should be his.

I prefer Pietrus, but yes, I'll take CDR as well any day over Ebanks.

They kept this on the quiet nice job. Like this signing as he can really push for a spot and will force Ebanks to bring his A game. Could be this years Gerald Green for us if he plays well and if sent to Defenders gives us a decent wing player waiting in the wings come injury or roster movement. Would also add more youth and athleticism and I must say I would love CDR backing up MWP over Ebanks. He is a more proven player especially offensively. However having both can't be a bad thing. Well done to our FO again!!!

imo Ebanks game is more D-League worthy than CDR's. The DLeague is for players to expand their game offensively and become more confident on O, score a 30 point game or two for the first time in their pro career. CDR had TWO 30 point games in his last season , id like to see if Ebanks can score 30 in the DLEAGUE......

Crazy athletic. Hes a taller version of Shannon Brown. But we gave someone like that a shot last year (Gerald Green) and that didn't go so well

No we didn't. He got a legitimate shot with the Nets and had a ton of great games.

Well he was also on the LA D-Fenders with us for months, he was an all star in D-League and played his ass off, Mitch was seeing this guy everyday and didn't think he could produce so didnt call him up to our team. Not sure if Green could've done much on our team last year since we played at a snails pace and no decent Point Guard to help him out
