Paul Pierce would have considered retiring had Kevin Garnett decided to retire.

Garnett re-signed with the Boston Celtics on a three-year deal.

Let's see how the Celtics put themselves together defensively this season. I still think any team with Rondo can go as far as he takes them.

I doubt he would've. Even if he doesn't want to play for a bad team at his age, that's too much money to leave on the table.
