If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

"Hopefully I'll be back for some preseason games," Howard said. "I think we're going to need it for chemistry and all that stuff. But, like I said, I'm not going to rush it. I'm going to continue to practice. We've had some great practices. Today was really good, so I'm happy."
A source who witnessed Howard at the portion of practice that was closed to the media described Howard's level of play to ESPNLosAngeles.com as "unbelievable."
"He was dunking everything in sight," the source said. "He looks like he can play in an NBA game today."

2. i think this teams chemistry will be the best chemistry of any Laker team i can remember.why? because not too many frustrating losses will happen, annnd because these are some great, happy go lucky guys. these players are just honored to be on this specific Laker team, they just wana get better, they know everything can make them better. the goal will ALWAYS be in sight

I bet Magic fans are flipping out saying "He fake it" lol
i'm sure this is part of the reason he didn't say "i'm ready to go" during his press conference. he's been ready for a while. logically you don't have the arms he has right now unless you've been able to lift and during his press conference he was cut and somewhat big. he's probably been healthy for 2 months

Howard was laboring at the end of the practice as he finished going through some 5-on-none shell work with fellow starters Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Steve Nash and Metta World Peace. Lakers coaches urged Howard, who grimaced slightly as he ran back and forth full-court in the offensive drills, to fight through it and he did.
Didnt like reading that. Hopefully its just soreness. Rest of the article it here

He was grimacing due to his conditioning and stamina because he hasn't ran the courts like that in a while, not because of his back, it was more due to exhaustion.

That's him being out of shape. You think the coaching staff would really urge Dwight to push through it if they thought it was his back in pain?
