I don't expect anything out of him, but still want to see him play.^ You really expect him to do that much better than he did in summer league? I'm not expecting much to be honest. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. Same goes for Morris and some of the other bonafide scrubs. I'll start respecting them more once they actually prove themselves, if ever.

Dwight working out!
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

I posted this on the page before but it sort of lost in the shuffle.
Was nice to see Fisher working with the young rookies and 2nd years. DJO blew past him though, but its Fisher

DJO definitely has some quickness.
yeah they said that his vibe wasnt summer league and he plays better when he's surrounded by good players. Hmm I guess with the summer league roster we had it WAS hard to get into some kind of a rhythm. Still no excuse but we'll see.

I'm not sure what to expect from the kid BUT if he's quick and can play solid man to man defense, he might be useful off the bench against players like Westbrook or Rondo.

I'll have a few notes from LAL's intersquad scrimmage today for you purple & gold addicts out there. Similar group from last several days.
Looking good finishing in traffic: @dariusmorris4, who added muscle this summer & could get more early camp burn w/Blake's injury.
You can tell while watching a scrimmage why teammates like Antawn Jamison so much. Constantly positive & encouraging.
Jamison is also showing why he's averaged about 20 ppg for his career, hitting the last 2 game winning shots, both triples.
Rookie Darius Johnson-Odom continues to impress in these workouts; his athleticism is making a difference. Coaches have been impressed.
DWIGHT HOWARD UPDATE!!!
On Sept. 13, we heard the first official Dwight Howard injury update from the Lakers staff, detailing his rehabilitation process.
On Wednesday afternoon, Howard continued to make progress, focusing on upper and lower body strengthening, core stabilization, light running plus some basketball activities.
FULL PHOTO GALLERY
Assistant coaches Darvin Ham and Chuck Person went through low post moves with the six time All-Star center (see video below), with Howard adding some shooting from the paint and the free throw line.
Howard dropped in a high percentage of his patented baby hooks with either hand, spinning either to the baseline or the middle depending on Ham’s defense, and showed his quick first step getting to the hoop when Ham closed out.
The team continues to stress that no timetable has been determined for Howard’s return, but allowed that there have been no set backs to this point in his rehabilitation.
I like that they are having Dwight work on his midrange jumper along with other things. That's a very good sign.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
