One thing that separates Dwight for Andrew is the fact that he takes pride in being the best defensive player in the league while Drew was about his offense.



Yeah Dwight keeps talking about how he's tired of laying the ball up when he's under the basket. But his legs seem to be coming back and he showed more confidence in alley oops as I saw him telling Blake to throw the ball up high after a play where Blake didn't oop it to him and Dwight said "I can get up there" pointing to the sky. He's starting to get some more confidence in his legs.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

and his rebounding. dwight also takes pride in his conditioning and playing hard on both ends regardless of what going on in the game. can't say the same for bynum. and oh yeah, dwight want to get better while bynum tells off all time greats who try to help him.

Player dvlp coach Phil Handy & @SteveNash are doing a ball-handling/passing drill right now w/no-look passes - Yup, Nash is winning.

Basically, Handy & Nash have their hands up facing each other. Can't move feet, must pass ball with one hand back & forth, to either side.

LAL got Gasol looks in post early vs DET & benefitted. Weren't able to do so at Utah. Balancing act not to waste his skill on low block.

No real update on @SteveNash (non-displaced leg fracture). He's doing individual, non-contact work outs, but nothing with the team.


If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

As does Bernie and they respond best to apparently.

Like I said these last two games where we've played free form and in Bernie's style did everything to convince the front office that Mike was best for the job.

When you have a team full of superstars the best thing you can do is let them play freely.

The last 2 game we have dominated to team Who when under Mike brown would kill us.
