Mike Brown says he's "excited" about where @DwightHoward is. "He's doing just about everything."
And True Laker fan, thats great news about CDR, I actually just asked Trudell about that before he posted that.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Typically, Howard or Gasol will stay on floor at C w/that 2nd unit. Duhon, Clark, CDR, Morris, Goudelock among those fighting to break in.

It's as follows
@LakersReporter
Here's the current depth chart for the 2nd unit, drawing from Brown's comments: Blake, Meeks, Ebanks, Jamison (moving over to the 4).
Typically, Howard or Gasol will stay on floor at C w/that 2nd unit. Duhon, Clark, CDR, Morris, Goudelock among those fighting to break in.
As long as CDR keeps turning heads in practice that's good news!!
(and for those just joining us, Dwight and Kobe pictures news(Kobe feeling better than he did in 2006) as well as Dwight's monster block are on page 15

Our bench is deep enough we can do multiple things, that's the beauty of it.

He will and he wont have to be a sg which is what they were making him do allot last season. His role will be very limited this yearAm I the only one that believes Steve Blake will be much improved just based on the talent surrounding him in the second unit?

Kobe, with a grin, said his fierce dunk over/around Jamison was payback for Antawn taking a charge he didn't appreciate earlier. #LakersCamp

1.Dwight cleared for full contact, very short minutes
2.Jordan Hill will only miss 1 month, no surgery
3.Meeks and CDR "turn Mike Browns head in practice"( his words)
4. Kobe Dunks on JAmison, shows he still has a mean crossover, both hands!

Alright everyone, Brown pretty much has put out who the 2nd unit will be and who will be going for minutes thus far in camp.
It's as follows
As long as CDR keeps turning heads in practice that's good news!!

Nice, glad Meeks made the second unit.
Hopefully CDR can as well.

also notice Kobe's dunk came off a screen from Dwight, I think everyone was talking about the effectiveness of Nash in the PnR but what about Kobe's benefit with a true PnR center ALSO helping setup situations for him? Dwight being a PnR center does wonders for the options of both Kobe AND Nash depending on which has the ball and which is moving without it.
