Will also give Somalyi and Sacre to get some burn before they go to the d-league to develop more. So good for them.

But I like the signs, if Brown doesn't even want Gasol to get used to playing starting C then Dwight may be back very VERY soon.

True, just thought bout that

Yep, Phoenix conservative Steve Nash is gone.... Santa Barbara California Steve Nash is back!!!!

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

It's funny cuz the pick and roll is so simple yet effective. I used to rack up assists just with that

YES!! great news!! Dwight Howard cleared for full contact 5 on 5 at limited minutes!! Best training camp news of the week.

2nd best news of the week is that Jordan Hill will NOT need surgery on his back and will be back within the month! :rock:

With Jordan Hill out, Earl Clark should get a look at power forward, where he's playing alongside Howard in 5-on-5 right now.

@LakersReporter

Apparently Kobe is feeling good today: he just reeled off consecutive nasty dunks, the 2nd through traffic.

Kobe & Howard discussing strategy as they try to close out a scrimmage W.

@LakersReporter

Howard seems to have come out of the scrimmage well. He's hammer dunking missed FT's from teammates now, just for fun.

The dynamic betw. Kobe/Howard after a week remains very light-hearted. Lots of joking. That'll evolve during tight games, but a good start.

@LakersReporter

Kobe doesn't know how he's going to feel in 2 years when contract is up. Is retirement an option? Sure, but def. too far away to tell.

Kobe is starting his 17th year & has an 18th to follow. If he still feels good physically/mentally, who knows. He isn't concerned.

@LakersReporter

Kobe, with a grin, said his fierce dunk over/around Jamison was payback for Jamison taking a charge he didn't appreciate earlier.

Kobe responding to reporters(hey Skip Bayless) saying that Howard is too much of a goofball on the court.

Kobe said a "goofball" -- on the court -- wouldn't block shots like Howard did in practice today. He's plugged in.

uh ohhhhhh

The league echos what I bolded.

So this means Metta is coming in with his body feeling as good as it did when he was indiana and had 10 points and 3 steals in the first quarter in the pre-season Lakers game

And Kobe is saying his body feels better than it has since 2006....

On top of that we have a more complete Dwight Howard coming in,

http://twitter.yfrog.com/3unn5pwcnlazhvjvnlvaqghnz

and a motivated Pau Gasol... as well as Steve Nash playing quarterback for all of them...

Yeah... MAJOR uh oh for the league ;)

Major HECK YEAH!! For us!! :rock:

@LakersReporter

Mike Brown said rookie C Robert Sacre would start again for Howard tomorrow night vs. Portland. As expected.
