This was actually a really good interview, these paparazzi don't seem as annoying and Kenny seems welcoming of the interview.

Sounds like a hidden Laker fan :glasses:

Kenny's awesome. He used to be my neighbor in an apartment complex while his new house was being built here in LA. I would always see him at the gym with his little son KJ, and he would put both of us through shooting drills, and coached us up well, giving us all kinds of tips for shooting. He's definitely a class act

Btw Boa is an amazing steakhouse...

You're right. Unlike most, this was actually a lengthy & great/quality interview. Thanks for posting.

I think Kenny smith is a hidden Laker fan, in the all-time greats fantasy draft they did, he picked the most Laker players.

Yeah it's much better than those 40 second walk by's where they just seem to overly annoy the person they talk to with stupid questions.

But this one was pretty good :) They should get this guy to talk to basketball players more often.

Good interview, but can someone explain to me the meaning of the expression "out of the gate"?

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

It means that he doesn't expect the Lakers to struggle that much during the season. There won't be that big of a learning curve with the new players and the team will come out strong and play well.

Thank you, that's also what I expect from this "superteam".

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

I saw him in the Phoenix airport one Sunday morning. His head was not nearly as shiny in person as it is on TV. He and Barkley are both friendly in person. In some ways, that should be expected. When you are in people's living rooms every night, it is only natural to expect them to speak to you when they see you.

Craig Sager is nice too. He once stopped his run and posed for a picture with me on the Miss. River bridge in Minneapolis.

The Heat received so much criticism for losing to Dallas in 2011, it was unbelievable. Despite reaching the Finals, it was still a failure...even considering it was their first year together.

It will only be the same for LA. We will have four capable all-star players, three arguably superstars (not sure if Nash can be considered a superstar at his age, but he's borderline if not)...we will be expected to win it all, no matter what, in an 82-game season.

Kenny is the best bb analysis in TV. He knows what he's talking about and his vision and school of thoughts are realistic.

Whats up with BOA ? Kenny, CP3, Kobe was there at new years, got to check it out.
