About as meaningful a signing as Thabeet right now.

Just an extra body in case of injury. Milicic is one of the biggest busts ion the history of the league. If he wasn't 7' he'd have been gone a long, long time ago.

It's a move to shore up the middle to play against the 76ers, Lakers and any other team with a big man. Little to no help.

Conparing his signing to Thabeet is ridiculous. Darko will get pt, he's a big body that plays hard nosed D, sets solid picks and cuts well, which is all Rondo needs to get the ball in Darko's hands for easy buckets.

Yes he's a bust considering how high he was drafted but he's a serviceable center. Good pick up for the Cs.

It's not ridiculous. I said at this point it's the same, but think what you will.

It gets them no closer to a ring whatsoever. And at the heart of it, that's why you sign people, to get you closer to that goal.

Milicic does that for nobody.

I didn't say anything about a ring, but he'll get them wins, and that already is more then what Thabeet could ever hope to bring as a bench warner

I know you didn't say anything about rings. What I said is ultimately every signing should make your team one step closer. My point is Milicic puts them no closer than Thabeet would do at this point.

It's a junk signing by a team that looked at the Lakers and thought they may need something / anything to compete with the size of L.A., should they meet in the Finals. Milicic is a joke.
