When the Bobcats franchise first began, the Lakers weren't very good. That was a contributing factor to the losing trend that developed.

Bobcats actually were a very good defensive team and a scary team to face at home back then too.

Is Wayne Brady gonna have to Djokovic? - Robert Flores

This. I used to always treat a Bobcats game as a Christmas day game.

Matt Carrol used to rape us. As well as G-Wallace...

I think for these matchups there are no explanations. Its just one of those freaky kryptonite type things. More of a psychological thing probably. But I think every team in any sport has that one team that pushes them every time, no matter what the rosters look like. We could have the Dream Team as our roster and it'd still be a close game with the Bobcats. lol

If the Bobcats had been in the Finals in 09 and 10, Kobe would probably still have three rings.

Remember the "on" and "off" switch the Lakers used at will during the season...

The bobcats are just one of those teams the Lakers did not use the on switch for.
