Breaking news in the shoe world today as SneakerWatch has received confirmation that Dwyane Wade will no longer be repping Jordan Brand. Instead Wade has made his way to Chinese brand Li-Ning in a speculated multi-million dollar deal. No official words from either side yet but expect an announcement some time in the next few days.

The move comes after 3 years with Jordan where Wade served as the temporary face of the signature Air Jordan line and which led to the development of two signature Fly Wade shoes. As Li-Ning continues its strides to make its presence felt in the NBA expect more big name athletes to follow along. For now look forward to the first Dwyane Wade x Li-Ning release and expect Jordan Brand to possibly add another hooper to their roster.

jordan brand is pretty weak now IMO in terms of shoes, aside from inspirational commercials, they aren't that impressive compared to other shoes in the game

wade always had ugly ass shoes though except for maybe 1 pair (from both jordan and converse), thought that would change with jordan but fly wade's were meh at best

never heard of li-ning, im curious to see what designs they come up with

They might not make the best looking shoes, but they are the brand every player wants to be endorsed by. I bet what we dont know is that the Chinese company was paying him more, because who the hell buys wade shoe anyway? He probably wasnt bringing in too much money for jordan so they probably werent gonna throw a lot of money at him. Jordan is the endorsement every player wants, I think this has more to do with jordan not wanting him then the other way around.

If he was leaving Nike for the Chinese brand I'd actually care but Jordan Brand is wack outside of MJ's shoes. No one cares about Chris Paul, Carmelo or Dwyane Wade's signature shoes on Jordan.

He should have never went under the Jordan line though.
Most their designs are fugly compared to other Nike signatures.
