Ron's speaking out

I hope more players do the same. It won't mean much, but I'm getting a little worried.

Fans should tweet some of the other players to do so as well. I would if I had one.

^ I'm good. I wouldn't make one just for that and I wouldn't make one to begin with if I haven't done so by now.

I love DirecTV, their customer servive is pretty amazing and we've been satisfied customers for about 5 years now, BUT if like 5-10 games into the regular season this issue isn't resolved, i'm definitely making the switch to TWC.

I fully expect them to reach a deal before the season starts though.

lol no, not close

Directtv has NFL sunday ticket, the NFL is the most watched sport by far.

people would rather have directtv.

not to mention cable just sucks. i'd rather pay 70 dollars for NFL broadband then switch to that garbage

i would think they would lose millions of customers if they don't reach an agreement. its gotta happen.

that sucks for the people in the lakers broadcast territory (like me) that don't have time warner as an option...they only have cox & satellite out here in santa barbara...at least those in w/ timewarner in their area have an option to see the laker games if an agreement isn't reached (switch to time warner) but we're boned if an agreement isn't reach...

they need to figure this out asap

I don't care for sunday ticket or NFL games all that much. I don't have sunday ticket and the games I do get are more than enough for me personally. I know i'm in the minority since most everyone wets their pants over football, but I like basketball and the NBA way better.

I'd rather have the Laker channel and get all Laker games than any NFL package.

For Time Warner Cable Desert Cities customers, Time Warner Cable SportsNet can be found in HD on channel 403 and Time Warner Cable Deportes HD is channel 481. Both networks also will be available in standard definition on TWC’s expanded cable level of service at channels 28 and 35.

To determine whether you will receive the new channels is simple for current Time Warner Cable customers. If you presently get Fox Sports West and Fox Sports Prime Ticket, then you will receive the two new channels as well.

Negotiations are ongoing with other cable and satellite providers in Southern California, including DirecTV, DISH Network and Verizon FiOS. Lakers fans should expect deals with those carriers to occur closer to the Oct. 1
launch.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

Exactly your in the minority. Directtv knows they won't lose that many customers because of the laker channel

Why would you want more channels, more HD channels, more sports, more premium channels, better picture, better service?

Who wants that
