I hope it's up tomorrow. I don't think I can watch another game on a stream.

They got the channel. That's all that matters. You act like they got the channel after the season ended.

I'm sure 80%+ of Laker fans who have DirecTV also stuck around. I know I did, from the pre season to about 2 weeks ago, not by choice.

Got an HD DVR($200) for free and extended for another 2 years so I was stuck with them just hoping a deal was reached soon. So glad we finally have that channel.

Come on Dish. This is just stupid. It's channel 691 btw for direct tv.

Did you get the new Genie or just your standard HD DVR?

Lol I didn't have directtv in my dorm, leaving to go back home for thanksgiving break, and right when I'm going back home to DTV, deal gets done

What an awesome coincidence

I think directtv was waiting until mike brown and his boring ass offense was fired and until a new coach was hired to make the deal

Anybody know if TWC is part of the basic package on DirecTV? Channe 691 isn't working for me yet. The press releases I've read so far is that it's available to SoCal subscribers. Doesn't mention the rest of the country.

Standard HD DVR. The HR-24. 500GB. Touch sensitive controls in the front. The Genie was $300, although my uncle got one for like $70 last week when he called and complained about the Laker channel.

I'm good with recording only one thing at once. 90% of the time if you missed watching something as it airs or missed a chance at recording for whatever reason, they'll show it again soon after.

Genie does sound nice though. Maybe later i can get it and give my receiver to my parents.
