Eh too late damage done
They got the channel. That's all that matters. You act like they got the channel after the season ended.

Got an HD DVR($200) for free and extended for another 2 years so I was stuck with them just hoping a deal was reached soon. So glad we finally have that channel.

Did you get the new Genie or just your standard HD DVR?I'm sure 80%+ of Laker fans who have DirecTV also stuck around. I know I did, from the pre season to about 2 weeks ago, not by choice.

Lol I didn't have directtv in my dorm, leaving to go back home for thanksgiving break, and right when I'm going back home to DTV, deal gets done
What an awesome coincidence

Standard HD DVR. The HR-24. 500GB. Touch sensitive controls in the front. The Genie was $300, although my uncle got one for like $70 last week when he called and complained about the Laker channel.
I'm good with recording only one thing at once. 90% of the time if you missed watching something as it airs or missed a chance at recording for whatever reason, they'll show it again soon after.
Genie does sound nice though. Maybe later i can get it and give my receiver to my parents.
