Yes, until this deadlock is broken, these will be strange times for many Lakers viewers. The team's telecasts, for example, aren't even available to the team itself. The Lakers' practice facility in El Segundo has DirecTV.

Well this is tragic as many fans that I met in he parades don't have any cable or sat coverage, these are lotalally great folks who like many did channel 9 and missed Fox games, now its a new world. Saddly many lilttle kids won't see the lakers cepr on news highlights. I will spend time finding a few sports bars that will carry it.

I don't think I'd even like basketball that much if it wasn't for KCAL....Sad times.

First game is in 11 days. Any news, rumors?

Does anyone know if Laker games will be on nba league pass? Or will they be blacked out like many people have said and speculated? Does anyone know for sure? I am sure they will get a deal done, but I always get NBA League Pass, gotta have it. If no one replies I'll just call league pass tomorrow, I'm sure they can tell me. Everyone seems
to have a different opinion on it, some say it will be blacked out, some don't, some say it depends on where you live to?

READ THIS SECOND PART IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A TON OF MONEY AND DOUBLE, EVEN TRIPLE YOUR LIFE SAVINGS OR ASSETS!!! (seriously, no catch! no scam!)
HOWEVER, DON'T READ THIS SECOND PART IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO SCARES EASILY AND DOESN'T HAVE ANY BALLS, CAUSE THIS IS NOT FOR YOU:

Anyone with a large savings or a few grand saved, I would highly recommend putting it down on the Lakers to either win the championship at 11 to 4 odds, or to make it to the finals and win the west at 13 to 10 odds. I don't care what anyone says, after watching the Lakers blow the series against the same exact OKC team they have this year, when they had no bench, and now have Howard and Nash? I mean its over. Their pretty much a guaranteed lock to win the west, and their size is going to destroy Miami, if they even get to the finals, if they don't LA wont have any challenge cause no one else in the East can give them a run for their money. Betting on them to win the western conference is the safest, wisest, investment you''ll ever make, and it could be one of the most lucrative as well. LA to win the west or the whole thing at the odds that sports books are giving is the best bet you can ever get or ever will get. Its incredible how great the odds are that they are giving and how much they are underestimating the Lakers. I mean the Lakers really should have been up 3-1 against OKC in that series last year and gone to the finals against Miami, where their size would have played a huge factor.
LA was up and dominating in 2 of those games that they blew when they had a strong lead in both games with very little time left in the game, unfortunately we all know the story and that they blew it. But if they were able to come that close to beating that OKC team last year, just imagine what they will do to them this year with their bench and howard and nash. OKC realistically is the Lakers only challenger and hurdle to get over, and its not going to be nearly as hard as it was last year. The Nuggets will be dangerous but this is also a very different Laker team that beat them in 7 games. And the Lakers really don't have much to worry about with the Clippers, they have alot of old vets and already have injuries and players out of shape. They didn't fair to well last year in the playoffs and their team this year really isn't that much different, its still the same core. Their core just isn't good enough to beat the Lakers core in a 7 game series, and their bench isn't that much better then the Lakers bench to where it would be so big that they could beat them in a 7 game series, theres just not that big of a difference. The Lakers advantage with their core overcomes it easily.

I'm telling you, if you can wait 8 months, then put your whole saving on LA to win the whole thing, if you want to play it safe and make a little less money, then just bet on them to win the west. Or split your money and bet on both and then you have some insurance if they lose in the finals by some crazy chance, and if they do you wont lose anything as long as they make it to the finals youll make a small profit. Remember you get the amount that you bet back also if you win. I am telling you, look into it a little, sell all your stuff and your house if you have to lol. I know i would, i myself have $40,000 invested in them. I wish I had more or i would invest even more. If i had a few hundred grand i' would invest all of it in LA this year. I have $40,000 invested in them and stand to profit $101,000 so I will turn my 40k into $141,000 should the Lakers make it to the finals and also win in the finals. Even if the Lakers lose in the finals, I still have insurance and I won't lose any money because I have 20k bet on them winning the west, so if they win the west I will make a $26,000 profit and also get my 20k bet back, putting my total at $46,000 which covers my other 20k bet if the lakers lose in the finals. So even if the Lakers lose in the finals i still will make a 6k profit as long as they just get to the finals, all LA has to do is reach the finals and I make a easy 6 grand. But should LA win it all like i am very confident they will then i will make $101,000 in profit. The bet for them to win the west is more or less just a safety bet to give me a little insurance if they lose, so that way i dont lose any money if they play the heat and the refs call all the games in their favor or something. I feel great about both bets, that is literally my entire life savings, every dollar, that is how confident I am in my bet and this team, I have never felt better about any bet in my life and have had a lot of success with basketball bets. But i am just trying to help fellow laker fans out, i am sure no one will listen and actually do it, people in general are very scared and nervous and timid when it comes to betting, especially with their savings, but this is the best bet you will ever find. It's not like your dealing with a point spread or something, future bets are always the best, especially when you get odds like 11/4 for such a stacked lakers team.

Dont take it from me though, check it out yourself, you'll thank me later. This is the most talented LA team top to bottom, that I have ever seen since the showtime Lakers. The odds I mentioned are Bovada's odds, that's just where I play poker and bet, their are some websites that have worse odds and some who have odds that are a little bit better, but not by much. You better hurry soon though because you only have a few days left to place the bets, then action is closed. You just have to remove the fear from your brain and not be a [expletive], you just have to take the step and have a little balls and be willing to take a little risk. The only risk is that their could be a major injury to one of our stars, none of them have ever had a history of a severe season ending injury, besides Howard, but he is healthy now and back and looks great, so not much to worry about. The only reason not to do this, is because your scared and don't have the balls. I have thrown down my entire savings, I have watched every Laker team going as far back to the 70s, and his is one of the best teams I have ever seen assembled. Anyways, should you chose to do it then you are a smart men and we will be rolling in dough 8 months from now, should you have any questions you can message me and I will answer. And yes I realize I just joined and this is my first post and I have literally no credibility, I am a member on other forums, and i am not posting this cause i want people to go on my credibility or to brag or to troll or whatever it is people might think. I just literally have 100% confidence in this bet and it's the best bet i've seen in 10 years of basketball betting and I just wanted to share that with Laker fans, to let them know its out there and that they can make a lot of money should they chose to just take that plunge and chance. You just gotta do it the same way you rip off a band aid, you can't let fear get in the way, or focus on all the negative what if scenarios, its a great bet, great odds, with a lot of room for profit, its a big profit margin for both picking them to win it and to get to the finals. I just know most people who don't bet regularly and haven't had a lot of good results with it, generally have a negative outlook on it, which just isn't true, like anything in life you just have to know what your doing and put the work in and have a bit of smarts. This thing is so good its like having golden inside information on a stock right before its about to go up big. This really is a good thing, you can't go wrong with it, especially if you split your bets and bet on both evenly, you can't lose, the odds are in your favor big time of them winning. Personally just picking them to win the west is the safer bet though, but i picked both because of how much i stand to win if they win it all and if they don't i still make 6 grand, its a win win. Can't see anyone beating them in the west. It will take time for them to gel with the new players and system, but come playoff time they will be a force. Either chose to do it or not, but please don't hate of flame me, I am just trying to help you guys out and let you in on a great thing. It's not like its a secret though, its been made public plenty about what the Lakers odds are to win it, but not what the odds are to win the West.

I feel sorry for u bro. Putting down that much money on a team that hasn't even seen one of their star players play yet is crazy. We still have to go thru OKC. U just made this season very horrible for yourself, because instead of watching the lakers and enjoying them, u will stress yourself everytime something bad is happening to them. Good luck to you.

Hey everyone,

I am an international student who studies in Tampa, FL. Last year I had an ILP subscription which broadcasted every single game during the shortened season. I am about to subscribe for the LP Broadband. Can I watch every Lakers game and national tv games on it? I hope this is the correct topic where I can ask such questions. Thanks for your replies in advance

If your not in the california area the league pass is great for you. Unless the lakers are playing a team near where you are at you can watch any game. Same with other teams. As long as your not in there area you can watch it. Now nationally televised idk. I believe games on TNT and ABC and what not are only shown on TV but if you have basic TV and get those channels you should be fine. Hope that helps you.

I've never seen NBA TV black out games

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)
