It's not DirecTV holding this up guys.

No provider outside of Time Warner has the channel. Time Warner is asking an obscene amount of money for the rights to broadcast the channel. All providers are hedging on it, especially when it is really solely a channel for one team. Whether it's the NBA's most popular team or not, I don't blame providers for taking their time with this one.

My money's on them getting a deal done somewhere around the first game.

Maybe so - but I'm also pissed at DirectTV for not having the Pac12 network so this Lakers channel is strike two for me. I'm already paying way more than I need to by having TWC for internet, DirectTV and Tmobile for my home phone service - I can live with a slightly less quality HD feed for saving the extra bucks on a faster internet speed than I have now, home phone service + faster Wifi than Tmobile offers and both sports networks that I'm currently missing that I NEED.

Time Warner was at my next door neighbor's house today and I invited the tech in to talk about how I would configure my installation - the clock is ticking for me, if I miss one minute of even a pre-season game I'm done with this [expletive].

saw that too, 18 boards i think, kobe beasted the glass as well with at least 15 as well, crazy for a guard , let alone one in his 30's.

to those that dont have it, its not exactly the lakers channel, its an la sports channel that will show baseball highlights and possibly dodger games at some point (if twc wants to go through this again lol). but yes the lakers are the prime ticket right now and will be no matter.

to answer manaros locked thread, so far its #lakeshow with questions from internet sources like twitter and facebook being answered by bresnahan and another guy, they also do a buy and sell type segment(nothin new) and talk about instragam/twitter/ect photos. adler hosts that

laker girls- obvious.450 pretty and not so pretty delusional girls dancing their asses of in a reality show where lisa estrada/judges panel is in charge of decisions. wish i had been outside to console the rejects, maybe next year since its not so often you get that many pretty and dumb girls in one place, and yes i am shameless(though its a thin line between that and genius)

footballers lives - soccer related show, not just about la galaxy the world. ( christiano ronaldo you lucky bastard, that guy even has a cool name to go along with more money than god and a supermodel gf lol)

so far thats all i got lol, some of it is very redundant but good stuff none the less. i havent changed the channel for a few days lol

oh to any of you looking to switch, find an independent contractor for twc(the guys that knock on your door or leave flyers, they wont be in official twc vans, usually junkier) and they will give you better promo deals with the exact same service. and i would not mention laker games, but thats kind of obvious if you have ever done sales.

probably best if you can find a flyer with a promo so you know whats up. all they do is sell u and install then twc takes u on as a customer and you deal with them and not the distributor. these guys shouldnt be too hard to find right about now.

if you dont care, call time warner direct and get less for your money but the difference can be huge

while i hate twc they do provide a good service(not cust service) that puts satellite to shame in some areas like on demand content (at least from what i have seen)

TitanTV.com is showing the new channel on channel #1777 on its Uverse listings. Right now the channel is not showing up for Uverse users, but last summer TitanTV showed the NBA League Pass channels on its Uverse listings about a week before Uverse actually added the channels so theres at least hope.
