Can't get down with that Adler chick - I dislike most female sports hosts/reporters. Sexist or not that's the truth of how I feel about it, hard to hear about sports from women for me. McGee is hard to listen to also, just seems like some dorky dude who probably liked basketball but never could play - rather have seen less of a fanboy and more of a professional television host in that spot, Michael Eaves?

Videos are cool though, now DirectTv needs to get this together yesterday - AND the Pac 12 network.

Yeah, a male sports reporter wouldn't call Doc Buss "Mr. Buss" like that chick just did in part 3 of that video talking to Jeannie Buss - smh, she seems too focused on playing it up and not enough on wtf she is talking about.

This is... KIND OF AMAZING!!!

Amazing studio and sets!

And... HOLY COW online streaming is AVAILABLE for TWC account holders! This means I can watch Lakers games in Santa Barbara!!!! $#%@#T^Y#@$%^@#$%#$@%#@$%#$@%

I should clarify... online streaming ONLY WORKS FROM HOME. I will not be able to watch TWC Online streaming when I move up to Santa Barbara. I am screwed starting next week.

Talked to FIOS today and they couldn't find Sportnet on their listings (obviously even though I told him they probably didn't have a deal yet) but I told them the only thing I heard was DirectTV trying to negotiate with TWC, which they told me that if DirectTV is in negotiations to get the channel, then FIOS will definitely get the channel.

DirecTV is getting tired of me calling. After they ask me for my information they just start saying we don't have the channel. Must have a note on my account now.

Just had a nice online chat with my provider Charter. Here is what they said...

Matthew Janse: I just want to see if Charter will get this channel
Randy: Thanks for that information, Matthew.
Randy: Charter is interested in providing Time Warner Cable SportsNet to our customers in California, and we are currently in discussions regarding carriage with them.
Randy: We are hopeful our negotiations with Time Warner Cable SportsNet will result in reasonable terms and provide Charter customers with a good value.
Matthew Janse: Really thats good news my friend, very good news. I am willing to pay more for the channel
Randy: I agree, Matthew.
Randy: I will have your contact information forwarded so that you will be notified as soon as the Time Warner Cable SportsNet is available.
Matthew Janse: Do we have a time frame on these negotiations? When channel may be available? Rumor even? Come on Randy give me the inside scoop my friend...
Matthew Janse: Thanks for putting me on mailing list
Matthew Janse: thats good
Randy: I would love to provide you with all those information, Matthew but there's no update yet.
Randy: You're welcome.
Matthew Janse: Okay well thanks for your help man. Have a good one

I wouldn't believe anything those people say to you. They're going to say anything to keep you happy. It's best to call and raise hell. And by raise hell, I mean complain, [expletive], and threaten to leave. I've done that plenty of times in the past and I've even been rewarded with free HBO and Showtime.
