I'd love to have Barnes back.

I have little to no faith in Ebanks playing major minutes at the backup 3.

The Lakers have to win now, they don't have time to keep giving chances to kids who don't contribute much.

But you have faith in Matt Barnes who is essentially proven to be a failure for the lakers defensively and offensively

Barnes isn't coming back we have Clark as the third small coward. This is Ebanks last chance to show us he can play I would much rather play him because we already know what Barnes can and can't do.

I like Barnes. His shot was incredibly weak last year and he's been on a decline but he still hustles and tries.

Plays tough on the court and off the court he seems to have a great personality.

barnes is very underrated, especially by some laker fans. i like what he brings, the only question is health with him. the guy is a great cutter and very active without the ball, perfect for the system.
Abdul-Jabbar told the San Francisco Chronicle last month he met Howard only once and that Howard expressed an interest in learning from the former Lakers captain but he never again reached out to Abdul-Jabbar.

‘He’s charming, he’s charismatic, very nice young man,’ Abdul-Jabbar said. ‘Maturity-wise, he doesn’t get it.’

Except Ebanks wouldn't be playing major minutes at the backup 3. World Peace will obviously start at 3 and Jamison will play minutes at the 3 & the 4.

Lakers have roster space and do need a 3rd string SF. Hell, Kobe and 'Tawn aren't gonna play SF. Devin wants to prove he can contribute then battle it out with Matt. Having Matt motivate Devin to play better. Would be the same thing Phil did with Jordan Farmar when they acquired Shannon.

Jamison WILL definitely be playing backup minutes at the 3.

Lets not. He's been a disappointment the last 2 years and he will be again I'm sure. Can't shoot when games matter the most, and he's injured a ton

I dont care but if we sign him healthy and he is giving us a good depth to the bench then I am ok with it.

Jamison will play more minutes at the 4 than the 3.

And yes, I have faith in Barnes and his hustle rather than Ebanks and waiting for someone to develop.

This season is about winning now, not developing youth that should've been developed already.

i agree we are in win now mode

so why would we want the no defense, no shooting, short fuse, technical foul producing player in barnes

Because believe it or not, he was our leading scorer off the bench before his injury.

He still works well off the ball which will be big in the Princeton offense.

thats like saying the tallest midget should be our center because he was the tallest midget.

barnes was a headache last year for mike brown, causing problems all over the lockerroom when he was benched, followed by typical hot head play, no shooting, and awful defense. Barnes defense was literally only slightly better than tracy mcgrady defensively.

i'd honestly rather slide jaimison down to the 3, and bring hill in at the 4

How about Tmac at the three? He's old but still has some tank in him. Would be a great scorer off the bench he would be willing to take vet since he wants a ring.
