Sorry what I actually meant was "west coast" gangsta movies, I love New Jack City!!! The only other east coast "new age" gangsta movie I can think of is Juice
I never really liked South Central but I like the rest of those movies especially American Me, another movie I thought was dope which really isn't gangbanging but drug dealing(still about the hood) was New Jack City.
