who else is excited for a new and improved game engine for metal gear solid ? the last one was was superb except for the hour long cutscenes which were brutal to watch!

It looks amazing, and Kojima said that it was running on a PC with current-gen specs. So basically, this is what the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions should look like... In Kojima We Trust

ya, mgs4 was the last exclusive game they will make

basically mgs is konami's money maker, so they will get more $$ by goin multiplat

i dont have a problem with it as long as they dont tone down the production value to make the game fit on a DVD disk

^^ after so many years of making games on sony consoles, i dont think they would do that, it wouldnt make sense

plus, konami is a japanese company

they dont really like the xbox in japan lol

Yeah that's what I think too. I have tons of respect for Kojima, and he wouldn't just crap on the ps3 like that lol.

Anyways, when do you guys think this is gonna take place? I think its in 1974, since Chico from PW seems around the same age, and because they said that Paz was found on the ocean 10 days ago. But some people think that it's in the 1980's because of Big Boss's gray hair. I personally think it was just the lighting

Damn this is hella nice. Its Big Boss for sure. This takes place a lil bit after Peace Walker ends, which is when FOXHOUND was established. The eye patch gives away that it's Big Boss as well as the person he was talking to mentioning how he could still move so quickly "at his age." That's not something they would say to someone young like Solid Snake would have been at this time.
