Lakers get: Luol Deng, Taj Gibson, JJ Barea, Tyler Honeycutt
Bulls get: Demarcus Cousins, Metta World Peace, Chuck Hayes, Travis Outlaw
Timberwolves get: Pau Gasol
Kings get: Carlos Boozer, Derrick Williams, Nikola Pekovic
Bulls cut payroll, get rid of their worst contract, and get a guy who may develop into a legit 2nd option for them. Timberwolves get the guy they've been trying to get for awhile now. Kings get a good veteran player, a young prospect who actually wants to play SF, and a true C. Lakers get big upgrades at starting SF and back-up PG. They also get a good starting-caliber PF.
I know, it seems lopsided in the Lakers favor. But, it does benefit the other teams too.
Idea: Luol Deng and Taj Gibson

No one wants Cousins
He's a headache. But, he's a very good player. He averaged 18 and 11(albeit with bad efficiency for a big guy). He's had some dominant games though. And, he's only played 2 seasons. Maybe a good atmosphere like the Bulls have would be good for him.
Either way, it's a way for the Bulls to potentially get the 2nd dominant guy they need. As good of a player as Deng is, I don't think he's that guy. Boozer isn't either.

Pekovic + Williams for Gasol isn't going to happen.

When he's asked why Kobe doesn't tweet, @thugraider37 said he offers this reply: "Does God tweet?"

Well, they really want Pau and I doubt there's minutes for Pekovic, Gasol, and Love. Maybe Sacramento can send them a protected pick?

No way Timberwolves give up that much the Lakers are giving up too little on the trade.

You guys are probably right. Salary-wise though, that's really the only deal that works without them giving up Kevin Love or 4+ players. If they get Pau, I think that's the package they end up giving up. Maybe they can get draft picks along with Pau.
