I don't know, I've always thought that if you win the national title, you should be ranked #1 in every poll to start the year by default. Forget about the players you graduate and what not, defending champion is #1 until proven otherwise.
Personally, I like that SC dropped a spot. I'd rather them stay out of that #1 until late in the season.

Doesn't matter though...as long we're in the top two. Dominating performance against Michigan but we have to keep it up the rest of the way.

I hope Fowler's injury isn't bad.
FSU has put 35 on Savannah St in the 1st qtr. Stop scheduling games against that school

Probably my favorite player on the team. We're gonna miss his punishing running style.
Oh well, go bama!

After NU lost to UCLA 36-30. Pelini is making major adjustments to the defense. Instead of playing the experienced/slow players, Bo will be giving some of our young, fast, athletic players a time to shine. “We want to get a little bit faster,” defensive coordinator John Papuchis said. “Team speed is something that’s been lacking over the first couple games so we’re going to try to get some of our faster guys on the field and see how that works this week. [1] NU's next opponent Arkansas State is ranked 4th in the country in yards per game
Wisconsin was upset by oregon state, they are now out of the polls. Their OL coach Mike Markuson has been fired. [2] UW barely beat Northern Iowa, 26-21. They face Utah st (who defeated Utah), another potential upset...
MSU's Le'Veon Bell looks like a contender for the heisman. MSU starts off the season 2-0 and faces #20 undefeated ND this saturday. This should be their real test
Urban Meyer is off to a hot start at tOSU. They look one-sided however with Braxton Miller doing most of the work on offense. Iowa off to a bad start, losing 9-6 to Iowa state. Cy-hawk trophy is back in Ames once again. Dont be suprised if hawkeye head coach Kirk Ferentz is fired by the end of the season. Minnesota looks like a sleeper team with an explosive senior QB Marquies Gray, same with Northwestern.

Arkansas goes down!
they're gonna be a caged beast against us next saturday
There was a report that came out a few hours ago that said Wilson is unlikely to play. Road game is tough, but if Bama doesn't turn the ball over, I don't see how Arkansas stands a chance.

Arkansas would have been underdogs WITH Tyler Wilson anyway but without him I think they're like a 3 TD underdog
