well in mot a psychic, all i can say is LA is appealing to his lifestyle. He's a son of the city and the guy that saved us from Smush
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Chris Paul is a better team player, he actually helps make his team better, he is oozing talent, he so talent he ALREADY rivaled Kobe for MVP. I see no point if we are apparently going to lose him for nothing, If we can get a younger and a plyer that is better for the team.

How is Chris Paul garbage in the first place?

i didnt say he was garbage but its tough building a team around a guy that size and this is the first year he will have a target on his back, so it'll be interesting to see how he plays and where those guys finish, plus Kobe is tougher than Favre, can Chris handle being banged-up, and his game is so based on speed hat in a few years who knows if he'll be as effective. Steve francis used to look great. New had a young promising point guard named Baron Davis, and he's still pretty good, but Kobe is THE MAN, also David West/ Chandler/ Peja/ Peterson...sounds like Paul has pieces around him

LOL at cp3 for kobe. Obviously you don't want to win any championships.

He's viewed as a great team player because he was great pieces around. David West, an all-star. Peja, one of the best outside shooters of all time. Chandler, a top center. Plus he has one of the strongest benches backing him up.

Give him Smush (yes they play the same position, but it's just a hypothetical), Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown in his starting line up...he wouldn't even make the playoffs.

You already said you're a bigger fan of CP3 than Kobe, so I'm sure there's no bias there :nervous:

Of course there is bias there,I was just saying that Kobe is every Lakers fan favorite player and it is folish of me to suggest a trade and think that somebody would agree with me.

They were busting their asses and putting in tons of work to improve their game. CP3 isn't there rebounding the ball for Chandler or shooting those midrange jumpers for West. They put in TONS of work. CP is just a small part of their improvement. Peja's been doing his thing for basically his entire career, but is just on a championship caliber team. That's what they were doing.

I put this team and its success before Kobe any day of the week.

chandler is a top rebounder in this leaugue with his length and athleticism, he couldnt lob all those balls to kwame brown, chris mihm, or even chris kaman for that matter
