Awful game.

WR's can't catch [expletive] the ball hits them in the hands and bounces off more than I've ever seen.

Gronk dropping about 5 balls in the first half?

That's funny because I've probably had five dropped passes total in the 15 games I've played.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong then... most my drops are coming from TE's, but still when they are wide open I expect a catch to be made.

It's annoying that zone defense is broken right now and everyone plays man and if you underthrow a pass there's a great chance it'll be picked off.

I still can't stop the run no matter what I try.

When I shut down the run I leave myself open to the pass (specifically a tight end on a slant over the middle that can't be stopped).

Extremely frustrated with this game.

Had a guy return a punt for a TD by running back 20 yards when he caught it then running across to the other side of the field and of course all the guys took a bad angle and couldn't catch up.

Madden a game run by animations. If the animation isnt triggered the ball would go right through your chest.

Oh no its not your fault its just that madden is a bs game run on animations. They can claim a new physic engine all they want but your pic still shows the ball is on rail and the only way it changes is if an animation changes it. Meaning that the ball only reacts to things but never acts on its own. The swat ball animation wasnt trigged for what ever reason (Timing or more likely madden just missed it) so the ball didnt act because it had nothing to react to due to the animation. Madden has always been a game of animations really. I'm sure everyone knows of morphing and sliding.

It's ridiculous that people can play man/press coverage all day and there's no stopping it.

3 receivers covered by one CB yet the CB can run 9000 mph and intercept me every time?

Every bad throw of mine is picked off, every bad throw my opponents throw swatted down or bounce off my cb's hands.

Last game I played the guy turned on rain, guess who had the more drops?

Me of course.

I had about 6 drops (4 from my top 2 wr's) and he had zero.

Oh and when I finally have a receiver open it looks like Tebow is still my QB, because I throw it 15 yards to the right/left of the wr.

^--- I haven't had it that bad before. I usually throw for over 300+ a game with anyone plus multiple TDs and maybe 1 interception. This game is just too easy in the running and passing game.

To me offense has always been easy in these madden games because there are always money plays and ways to exploit coverage, I very rarely run into a player that gives my offense problems. I prefer playing defense anyway its more challenging and there is no better feeling then stopping another players drive with a big sack or int.

Well I like teams with good rbs and good defenses. So I go with ravens, niners, seahawks, and sometimes I play with teams I just enjoy playing with the broncos, raiders, or texans.

I really like to run the ball so most teams I play with must have a pretty solid rb. As far as plays you got to play to you teams strengths. When Im the Niners Im not trying to turn alex smith into peyton manning. Run the ball and do smart passes really. Look at the defense that your playing and also how the guy your playing picks plays. Does he blitz a lot? Can you see more man than zone? Does he pick the same play over and over? I mean I know its a video game but you have to diagnose defenses just like a real football game. Pre snap look at the defense do you see a lack of defensive backs out there? How about where are the safetys at does it seem like one of your recieves will have one on on coverage? You can often see when you are playing zone or man when you look pre snap and see that there are defensive backs matched up with your wrs or if it seems like zone when there isnt a DB in front of every wr.

Type of passing plays that work are post to your te or to your wr down the sideline if he is bigger. Quick slants beat that bump and run if your seeing that, and then there is always the little dump passes to your rb if nothing is open. As far as beating zone, when you do your pre snap check look at where the players are and see where they might be covering, unless the guy your playing is using [expletive] d (When they drop 8 plus guys in zone) there is gonna be a spot open. Watch your receivers run through the zones and you will see that there will be a second when players are switching their assignment that you can throw the ball. Also you can attack zones by sending multiple targets through the area. Someone holding down the middle of the filed with his line backs send two slants through with your rb doing a quick curl in the middle. Someone is gonna be open. Obviously there are times when the defense just has the perfect play dialed up and there isnt anything you can do, just dont try to force something and have a turn over.

The thing is with most players if you can disrupt their initial game plan or how they normally play they will try to switch it up and adapt to you, but now you have the upper hand because their out of their comfort zone. This is where you can open your play book and make some plays happen. More skill players will be able to adapt to different play styles but a bunch of players online are guys that run the same thing every game and once you figure them out their cake to beat.
