This. It's just some guy speculating. The title's a bit misleading. They aren't "looking" at him in the present tense. Either way, I'd rather keep Pau he fits in better on the offensive end.

Not happening. Pau is a much better player and fit than Smith.
Pau's also 5 years older than Smith.
I don't see it happening either.

Smith's also backed off on his beef with Atlanta. That kind of got lost in all the D12 news.
Well, other than shedding JJ's ridiculous contract and sending Marvin Williams, the Hawks hasn't really done anything.
The fact that they missed on Dwight isn't helping either.
I think everyone would agree that he's gonna test the FA market.

There's no reason to piss Kobe off by trading for a marginally better player. The only way this happens is if Gasol doesn't play well leading up to the trade deadline.

Yeah I'm not sure about the details, I just vaguely remember some tweet mentioning it as I was scrolling through my feed for D12 news.

I'm surprised you'd say that considering how much love you've shown for the guy on the forums beforepau will play well all season long with soft tendencies here and there. but, where he really has to prove himself is in the playoffs.

This game's in the refrigerator, the door is closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jello's jigglin'!"

We'd be mean as hell with Josh Smith though.
On defense and the break, not so much in the halfcourt sets.

But if he can't take advantage of an opportunity that is basically being handed to him on a silver platter, yes, ship him out for Smith immediately. I don't see that happening, though.
