Andrew Luck is growing up before our eyes in his first season

Yeah he's really growing up with that 55 percent completion percentage and 79 QB rating.

Cam Newton is the first player in NFL history with 250+ yards passing, 100+ rushing yards, 1 passing & 1 rushing TD in the same game.

Not even close. I'd take these guys over him without hesitation. In no particular order.

Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Drew Brees
Manning Brothers
Robert Griffin III
Tony Romo
Matt Ryan
Ben Rothlisburger
Andy Dalton
Joe Flacco

Brady, Manning bros, Rodgers all I give you.

So because Newton outplayed Griffin in one game that means he's better?

Stop it. Romo outplayed Newton in the one game they played against each other. Newton is a phenomal athlete, but an average pocket passer. He has a very pedestrian 85 QB rating, completes less than 60 percent of his passes, and has only thrown 14 touchdowns while throwing 10 picks.

QB rating is not a good stat, we all know how bad Alex Smith is but he has a slightly higher qb rating than Peyton

To me Newton is a great athlete with skills but needs a better attitude and work ethic

I know it's a flawed statistic, but that wasn't my only argument. Along with having a pedestrian QB rating Cam is not very accurate and a poor decision maker.

I missed that cuz you lost me when you said Andrew Luck isn't so good just cuz of QB rating and picks.

He is expected to pretty much throw the ball 30+ times a game and force the issue in the air for the Colts to have a chance in games.

Any rookie would have picks in that situation yet we have wins and he's brought us back in the 4th a few times.

He's even had a fair share of running TDs

But it's different because Dallas is twice the talent Cam has around him. Cam = LeBron watch.

No. But Cam would be amazing in a huge city like Dallas...
