Not surprised. It was just about rep really, but as far as production & effectiveness, guy gets it done. Always been a tough gritty player willing to do all the dirty work, not to mention still pretty athletic, finishes strong, blocks/alters shots at the rim, and can hit the mid-range jumper from time to time.

Because everybody said Kenyon Martin wouldn't be a good pick up for anybody but has been playing great for the knicks so far as a role player

Where would Kenyon get minutes now with Gasol back? Maybe with Metta injured but with Metta healthy and Jamison playing well and having Clark and with Gasol back there'd have been no minutes for him, not enough to merit a contract at the time.

Lol Kenyon Martin is looking like a steal for the Knicks, he's held down (maybe improved) an old team with multiple injuries in their front-court, I wonder if we could've used him
