What did you expect? David Beckham riding around again ala James Bond and the Queen dropping out of a helicopter? C'mon now.

I didn't mind seeing David Beckham I thought the whole helicopter was rather amusing.. overall, I liked the opening ceremony.. all except for the whole technology/social networking part of it. That was cheesy as hell.

Other than that, it's this closing ceremony I find awfully boring. I'm waiting for the Spice Girls to perform for the most part lol

I wouldn't mind that actually. A little girl power never hurts. Plus, they'll tell me what I want, what I really really want.

This closing ceremony seems to have gotten better....music-wise. Queen Really liked the John Lennon thing earlier as well. Spice Girls weren't too bad either. And this Jessie J girl can really sing

As for George Michael, he sang "Freedom." And some new song called "White Light." I thought he sang for fairly long. Great performance by him as a whole.

^ Ahh, none of those songs I really like. Too bad he didn't sing any of his better/funner classics like 'I Want Your Sex' would've been perfect.

Was hoping he'd sing "Careless Whisper" LOL just cuz it's one hell of a known song by him, and I love it.

Interesting performances by diff Brazilian dance groups right now during the closing ceremony.

^ That's a good one too. Classic saxophone, also 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, 'Everything She Wants', 'One More Chance', 'Father Figure', and 'Faith'.

Any chance another network picks up the next Olympics though so we don't have to deal with some of NBC's abysmal programming decisions?
