noticed the other day that my google chrome desktop icon has "bbbok" underneath it instead of "google chrome"
anyone ever have this issue? what could it be? virus?

You sure you didn't just accidentally change the name? Run a virus check and just change the name back.

unlikely.
I know I can just change it back (which I just did) but I'm curious as to why it had that weird name
an hour into a full scan now

Dunno, probably you renamed it mistakenly. I searched up "bbbok" and no results in connection with Chrome.

yeh, I already looked up "bbbok" as well and came up empty.
