GCMD,
Can you please verify the information with the physician because there are two different scenarios for this treatment.
Scenario one is an injection to essentially protect the knee. The recovery time is limited.
The other is an injection DURING surgery for ACL surgery. Which protects the knee but speeds up the recovery process. The recovery time is months.
Bynum is in scenario one, and from doctors I have talked to about this, the recovery time is 2-4 weeks. (My sister just had ACL surgery and this was stuff I asked a few weeks ago do I got a brief rundown).

Has Bynum returned yet?
And sorry WC...didn't see your post. Just ran across an article on Bynum and glad he's gone and sad to have been right. Knee Bone Bruise? Ok.
And Bynum had the former of the procedures...but unfortunately, I really think Bynum's knees need a little more help than Orthokine...one thing for sure, he's on the 8-12 week track instead of the "wonder drug" track that most assumed.

It was an old topic. I don't think the mods care about moving topics when they're that old. Before GCMD posted, the last post was on July 16, way before the Dwight Howard trade.
