Is Shaq( not his stats or teams, but overall his basketball talent) better than either of the two players at their peaks?

He's definitely not as good as Jabbar though, since Shaq was only dominate for several seasons while Jabbar has been playing at a high level his WHOLE career and that's why he leads the NBA in overall points.
I want to hear this new rap that you're talking about because during that recent interview with ESPN he said when his career is over, he wants be considered one of the top 3 big men to ever play the game which included: Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, THEN Shaq in that order.

Whatever happened to Wilt? Sure, he may not have won as many championships as Shaq, but he's still one of the greatest big men to play the game ever.

That's according to Shaq, not me. But I still kind of agree with him.
Wilt is probably 3rd on my list, but I definitely don't think he's better then Kareem or Bill Russell.

And "hate" is not in a true Laker fan's blood. Respect, on the other hand, is.

Calling it right now:
Andrew Wiggins will be better than LeBron James.

There was no new rap, calm down. This was from the "Kobe how my [expletive] taste" rap. It wasn't just about Kobe, he covered a variety of topics. He was better than Ewing for sure. Easily. And him over Kareem is debatable.
And when Shaq was talking about being right after Russell and Jabbar he mentioned championships, and those matter most to him so that's why he's right behind them. Russell's 11 won't be matched he said but he wants to reach Jabbar's number.

I'd put Hakeem over Shaq too. IMO the list goes: Kareem, Wilt, Hakeem, Shaq, Peja Stojakovich

But I agree with Hakeem, EVERYONE seems to forget him and he's one of the greatest, and most well-rounded players of all time, AND he's won multiple titles.

Hate all you want but Shaq will go down as one of the greatest PLAYERS to ever play the game.
And "hate" is not in a true Laker fan's blood. Respect, on the other hand, is.
I disagree with your assessment of Shaq. He had teh tools, but didn't get there.
I do agree with your statement about hate.
