We had lunch with Jerry West years and years ago and one of the big things (along with hundreds of other awesome things he said) he always said was that 7 footers (or guys close to it) can always find a role in the NBA, no matter how good or bad they are.

You can't teach size. No matter how flat or badly they play, that size factor always works in their favor.

But apparently, you can't teach small hands, either. That was (and still is) Kwame's biggest disadvantage.

Doesn't matter, he's tall and big, that's all you need.

And like him or not, he can still play strong low post defense.
