It is my belief that players will often 'fight through injury' when they're playing for a contract, but when they're not or have barely/recently received one, they are more content knowing they can be.

RT @WojYahooNBA: Blake Griffin injured his left knee, the same one that he sprained during the Clippers playoff run, source tells Y! Sports.

Oh boy. This is on him for not giving his knee the rest it needed.

RT @sam_amick: Source says Griffin woke up with swelling after suffering the injury yesterday. Team USA's problem with Bigs grows bigger.

@MagicInsider now that Blake has signed an extension - matching salary becomes a very serious problem as he's now "poison pill"

Somewhere right now, Chris Paul just [expletive]ted his pants right now

In all seriousness, I hope he is OK and I hope it is not serious.

Chris Paul probably saw it happen. I'd say most times you can tell how serious it is. Not always but most times, there are exceptions where it looks horrible and is nothing or looks like nothing and is season ending but for the most part the severity is obvious from how it looked

Team USA could actually benefit from this. Defensively, Davis brings more to the table.

I hope Blake's okay. But, it doesn't bother me if the Clippers remain "cursed".

Guess Kobe is going to be our center.

Stop trying to bag on Bynum Kobe rolled into his knee on one, the other I blame the team for not D league in him to get more play time and build his young body up to play with men,
