LA still has to add 4 players now to meet the 13 player minimum.

Metta loves LA. I really hope he doesn't sign with the Clippers. Even though he will probably ruin them, it would just suck seeing him in a Clippers jersey.

There is no way they go into the season with just 13...Blake/Nash/Kobe are old and injured.  Pau has injury concerns of his own. They have to get up to 15

and I'm glad you were right for the record, but I know this must be confusing for you. One one hand, I'm sure you love this move for the team, but on the other, you have a personal relationship with the man so you must feel on that end as well.

That would entail 6 one year vet min deals, not sure who LA can get to fill that void unless they start getting D League guys.

Would that be crazy if we end up with LO..Ron's childhood friend?

Ron matched Khloe with LO and in a week we might see LO take Ron's job

however many it takes they're gonna have to take the minimum.

The proper plan is to spike up Nash/Blake/Pau's trade values and we need bodies on the roster to back them up. We cant overwork these guys this season, they wont have any trade value

Thank God MWP is gone. Thanks for 2010, but it's been all down hill since then.

If he signs with Houston it will be nice to see him come off the bench in Harden's team

Move was expected...Metta World Peace will be a member of the Miami HEAT OR OKC Thunder.

Nobody's crying because we lost skill. It's just that after D12 left it sucks to lose a player who actually wanted to be a Laker and loved it here. But financially it's a smart move, especially when next season is a waste anyways. It's all long term stuff for 2014.

Sad to see Metta go, but it's probably for the best. It gives the Lakers some salary relief in a year where we can't really win. Thanks for all the funny moments, the clutch threes he hit for every ten bricked ones, and above all, the Harden elbow.
