I dont see how Metta gets amnestied when Blake is still here. Metta can at least defend and I wanna see what he can do with Nash here.

MWP wont be amnestied because we don't have any SFs.

RT @TheRealDMArtest: So LA to amnesty Ron? Hmmm. Go ahead.  He'll clear waivers then sign w/a contender. We've already talked about that. I dare LA to do that.

Don't really take anything he says seriously but interesting he tweeted this

I view Blake as a more likely candidate to be amnestied. The Lakers are very thin at SF.

Rather amnesty Blake than him.

Give amnesty to one of the few players who showed up in the playoffs, still one of the best on-ball defenders in the NBA, shows a love for being a Laker, has some trade value rather than losing him for nothing (and being stuck with Ebanks as your starter) and a player Kobe loves having around?

It won't happen, but to those who want it to - not so intelligent a decision.

They won't amnesty Blake either. I really wish the amnesty program never happened. Just sick and tired of people being fascinated with the thing to the point of wanting to do it just to do it. Who do you want at the backup point, Morris? That's all the Lakers have if Blake is let go.

They're not amnestying to create space to sign another player. They're amnestying to facilitate the signing of Nash.

This isn't "news" at all.

Verdict: This is all circumstantial.

“Mitch Kupchak has been trying to move World Peace, and if he fails it’s possible he will use the amnesty clause in order to take a bite out of the team’s tax bill.”

Are you seriously taking a "poll" and trying to pass it off as it's really happening?

That's like taking a poll that asks "Should LA trade Gasol for Carmelo" and then making a thread saying they are trading Gasol for Carmelo :nah:

"Possible" is writer speculation.
