Hes gotta clear waivers first, someone is prob gonna pick him up before we could even get a chance to talk to him.

There is not a chance he doesn't get picked up through the waivers process. (See:Chauncey Billups)

Of course there is a chance - not a big chance, but it's possible.
The clips got Billups, the Knicks got Baron Davis and Memphis got Gilbert Arenas.
But Brand needs to let everyone know, that he only intends to play for ONE team. The problem is; he might want to play in Brooklyn...
