NBA PM: Lakers Afraid of Howard’s Back

It’s not as much the extension or keeping Howard long-term, the Lakers are confident there.
The bigger question and fear – is Howard healthy – and the word is recovery is going “very slowly.”

Everyone was harping on Bynums health, back surgery is no light procedure and may take a long recovery, I would not gamble on it as it does NOT improve the team in its weakest need.
