Larry Bird spoke about the great title run LeBron James led the Heat to this postseason.
"Has anyone ever had a better run?" asked Bird rhetorically about James' performance in the playoffs.
James and the Heat eliminated Bird's Pacers in the second round of the playoffs.
"He never had a bad game. He was so focused. You could see his confidence building and building and building.
"He should go down in history as one of the top, top players and maybe he'll get close to Michael (Jordan)," said Bird.

Yes, others have. Jordan had three that were better (just off the top of my head).

He shot 18% from outside the paint. OKC did a laughable job on defending him to force him outside the paint

He had some great games and moments here and there but for the most part he didn't do anything special for his standards, he finally did what everyone expected.

Weren't all the analysts raving about Dirk's postseason run last year? How it was one of the greatest runs ever?
How quickly people forget.

Really? I mean come one... Rose injured, Howard injured. Amare got injured and was not himself for most of the season and Lin was also out. Boston had several players also either out or playing hurt. The eastern conference was too weak one of the weakest playoffs I seen in the last couple yrs just cuz of injuries and still with all of that they struggled vs Boston and the PACERS!! the PACERS the best team they faced was vs Boston cuz OKC sucked and they shouldn't have made it they didn't deserve a spot in the finals they went on a hot lucky streak to beat us and the Spurs all that hot shooting finally went off I give the Heat some credit they did play well but it would have been harder if they had played the Lakers or the Spurs.
