Hornets, as expected, are waiving Rashard Lewis today to send Lewis to free agency. Buyout costs 'em nearly $14 mil but saves roughly $9 mil

He is a shell of his former self, but without him making a significant amount of money, I can see the Lakers giving him a shot for the vet min.

Someday I will have nothing to lose. I cannot wait for that day.

If I am him I would follow Dwight Howard to Brooklyn. Sign with Brooklyn right now and Howard would be even more likely to go there, unless they had personal issues.

The next best place would actually be the lakers. A shooting 4 would fit nicely here.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

Lakers should take a bid on him. He will still make loads of money.
