What's your objection? We FINALLY have a point guard in purple and gold and this could lead to further moves.

Oh I'm thrilled, I just wish people didn't act so passing in forgetting the good that Sessions did do for us during his time here. I have no problem with getting Nash, I'm very happy about that, just wish people didn't act like Sessions did next to nothing for us

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

He wasn't that good. I'm glad we avoiding overpaying for him.

With short flight to kids, chance to play with Kobe, Pau & Bynum, Duffy says Nash wanted to be a Laker when it was a real option 2 days ago.

Getting Steve Nash will extend Kobe's career, and also Nash's career, the best player he played with is a mid 20's Amare. Imagine what he can do with our starters, he might even make our bench look way better than it really is ....... MAYBE

Sessions did next to nothing for us. Completely ineffective against the Thunder, totally lost on the floor, and a defensive liability. There is a reason he is a career backup.

My main opposition to this trade is that Nash is notorious for not playing defense. But if we have good interior defense with like Howard/Smith it'd be solid.

I guess that's about as good as it gets with the TPE, though. Now our last main piece is Gasol, lets see if we can get a quality player and maybe strengthen our bench somehow.

I'd rather trade Pau to deepen the bench. But if I had to choose between Smith or Igoudala, I would pick Iggy, Brown knows how to implement Point Forwards into his system VERY well and Iggy is basically a poor man's LeBron so I think he'd implement well in the system.

I'd be happy with either, it will help hide Nash's defensive weakness.

3 years is way too long, though. He's 38.

Pau is as soft as doo doo inside a diaper now, all he does now on offense is chuck jumpshots, may aswell trade him to the raps for bargnani and some fillers so we can spread the floor for Bynum if we can't get Howard.

I'm not thinking defense i know, but neither was the Lakers front office by aquiring Nash, FO must really think we are getting Howard huh?
