I don't blame Patrick O'neal for cutting in, the network forces him to do that. It's not his fault.

Apparently, Patrick O'neal got bombarded on Twitter by fans criticizing him for apologizing. Like I said, he's following orders from the network, here are some of his responses:

it's still TV, and there are rules. I do what i'm told as would you and everyone else.

yes it's more than ok. Just not ok for my bosses or our station, that's why it's required to apologize or be fined.

Following orders, as would you if you were being told to do it. It's called rules.

you'd be amazed by how many people don't get it.

BTW - It wasn't Quick just showing "emotion", it was him having fun w/ Dustin and team cause Brown dropped an F-bomb on NBC.

oh, it's ok for me to swear on tv. wouldn't get in any trouble at all. just the athletes can't do it.

It is on during the day with lots of children watching with their parents. A major network doesn't want that kind of language spoken just like the parents of kids watching. I wouldn't call it political correct as much as common sense and decency. If this were Jay Leno on late night then have at it but this is during the day.

BTW he was drunk like hell and should have known better. I am positive the Kings management didn't appreciate him representing the jersey while he did that.
